Kúla Deeper 3D Lens adaptor nearing release
I received some great news today from Kúla regarding their upcoming Kúla Deeper, in order to mass produce the Kúla Deeper injection moulding is used, the tooling for this has now been completed, moving final production and release another step closer.
The tooling consists of several complex steel moulds, in to which liquid plastics are injected forming the required parts.
In order to make the Kúla Deeper feel just right and also have the desired durability, different compositions of plastic are currently being tested this will ensure that the finished product has just the right texture and look.
The following time scales are now in place and if met should see the Kúla Deeper arriving in the hands of users and hopefully gadgetz.tv this side of Christmas.
- Mass production in the UK [2-3 weeks]
- Ship products to Iceland [1 week]
- Assemble & pack [1 week]
- Ship to our customers who have pre-ordered Kúla Deeper
I am really looking forward to the Kúla Deeper, if it lives up to the promise it will bring affordable, high quality 3d photography and videography to DSLR owners, with the looming release of the Oculus Rift and existing phone based VR viewing platforms such as Google Cardboard, not to mention 3d tv sets, we could soon start to see an influx of exciting and diverse 3d videos.
