Elephone M3 looks very attractive for just $99

Hot on the heels of the Elephone M1 and M2 all metal business phones comes this bit of Elephone M3 news.
Just like the 2 previous releases Elephone have once again chosen an all metal construction for the body of the M3, looking at the renders its a nice looking handset with 2.5d glass (hopefully the phone will look this good when it is ready to ship out).
What will set this phone apart is the addition of previously flagship only features such as the inclusion of a USB type C charging port and the fact that it will ship with Android os6 Marshmallow.
Not much more is known about the phone except that it will feature a Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and will be available in silver and gold and the price will be just $99 (£66)
Hopefully the screen and cameras on the Elephone M3 will be of decent quality, making this an attractive proposition for a second handset.
What do you think? the renders look good and the specs that we know so far seem pretty impressive for the minuscule price of just $99 (£66)
Please feel free to leave comments and questions below

Download Ringo App: A Voice calling Android, iOS App To Make STD Calls At Just 19 Paise/ Min

Yes we’re speaking about the popular Ringo voice calling Android app that lets you make calls anywhere in India, could be a local or STD at a price of only 0.19 per minute. Announced that it is introducing new tarrif charges for voice calls in the country, that allows users to make international calls at cheaper rates than what you would actually pay for making such calls via your mobile phones.
Ringo
Starting today, the Rino app now also gives you an option to make low-cost local calling in India. Users can call any landline or mobile user in India for 19 paisa/min, without subscribing to any add on packs. How that? Unlike other VOIP apps in the market, Ringo uses telephone networks instead of phone data or the Internet for making a phone call. Furthermore, it offers superior calling experience without registering any call drops.
Ringo, which debuted its service last year in over a dozen regions, offering voice calls at Rs 0.19 per a minute. Rivals include in comparison, popular telecom operators such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular charge roughly around Rs 1.20 per minute for STD calls, and over 0.40 per minute with any special tarrif plan. The app by Ringo claims that users can reduce their talk time cost by up to 90% using its service.
ringo_android_app_sc
The company claims that with the standard rate of 19 paisa, it is 90 per cent cheaper than most carriers and 25 per cent cheaper than the most popular Internet-based calling apps. Additionally, it offers 50 minutes of free talk time to every user who installs the app for the first time, and 50 extra minutes for every friend a user refers to Ringo.
How It Works?
Foremost users need to download Ringo app, and tap on the person he or she wishes to call. Instead of the user talking to that person directly. Ringo calls that individual and connects the user to that contact. Where recipients don’t need to have the app installed on their handset, and voice calls work without a reliable data connection.
Ringo is able to offer calls for 19 paisa/min by purchasing minutes in bulk at extremely low prices, and passing on the accrued savings to its customers. Bhavin Turakhia, CEO and Founder of Ringo, said:
Ringo-Android-i-Phone
Our vision has been to make calling across the globe simple, seamless and low-cost for the masses. Our local calling service is not only the cheapest in India right now, but it is also free of typical telecom-related hassles such as STD charges and differential pricing.”
Ringo does not ulitise your talktime as it uses a unique call flow that connects both the initiator and the recipient of a call via a conference bridge. You can see the little flag of the country and also how much it will cost per minute to call that person.
Ringo-Call-Tarrif
You can now download the app for your Android phone from the Google Play Store and for your iPhone from the App Store.

Vine App For Apple Watch Released To Download

To put looping videos on your Apple Watch, Vine has come with the support of its watchOS app, brings the ability to play tiny videos on your wrist and add a complication on certain watch faces and keep wearers up to date on how many times their clips have been looped. It’s better clarified as keeping a running count of Twitter followers on your wrist-watch. Smart, isn’t it?
Twitter has today updated its Vine iOS app, releasing a new Apple watch app as well as an improved overall usage experience. A free download app for both new and existing users, bringing with it the Vine experience to the Apple smartwatch, allowing those with the device to playback video content from Vine right on their wrist.
Vine-for-Apple-Watch-main
The latest Vine app makes uses of the official APIs to make magic happen on the Apple Watch by giving the ability to playback video content natively on the wearable aws also added as part of watchOS 2update. launched in September, when Apple chose Vine to showcase the new ability for apps to play back video in watch.
Launching on Apple Watch today, Vine is also updating its iOS app with a new way to discover video content. You can now swipe left on any video to load a related clip that Vine thinks you’ll like. You can keep on swiping until you get board. Users can both Like and Revine their favorite Vines right from the Apple Watch as well, meaning they really can get the core Vine functionality without having to leave the Apple Watch app.
Both Favorites and Featured feeds are visible within the app, a Complication is also there should people need an even quicker way of laughing the app on their wrist.
Our Apple Watch app provides two feeds: Favorites and Featured. In Favorites, you can watch posts from the creators you’ve selected as a Favorite. In Featured, you’ll see Vines that have been hand-selected across channels like Comedy, Music and Sports
If there’s good there’s bad features as well, like what we’re not completely convinced that the likes of Vine should be on the Apple Watch at all. If you really must watch short video clips from your wrist then Vine at least has your back in that regard.
Beyond its associated Complication and the Apple Watch app, the iPhone app now allows users to jump from one Vine to another Vine with a horizontal swipe, making its even faster and easier to browse Vine for the latest videos. However, this update is all about the Apple Watch though.
Vine-for-Apple-Watch-OS2
Vine does a good job of shrinking down, offering up featured Vines and videos from your favorite accounts. The new Vine app update, including the Apple Watch component, can be downloaded for free from the iOS App Store today.

5 types of users of Apple’s tablet

Apple has become a symbol of controversy. Some prefer them for the quality, intuitive and visual amenities. Others will mock you pay a few thousand just for the logo gnawed fruit.

On the web you can meet a lot of parody meme authors who are trying at all costs toreduce the value of Apple. One of the most popular slogans of the typical fan according to the critics is: "iOS is better than Android … because it is better". I like people with a distance to each other, open to new challenges and, above all, respectful love of others. So I think that choosing the right tablet should be the result of our current needs, aesthetics and their own opinion. Based on our own observations has identified several types of users of Apple's tablet. Perhaps you identify yourself to any of them?
Apple hardware / photo. Flickr, Kansir
1. Fanboy / Fangirl Surely you know someone who is waiting eagerly for new tools pharmaceutical under the sign gnawed apple. She can stand in line for new equipment all day. It is up to date with all and any negative opinions cause her frustration and hatred. A common is a lack of distance to himself and to his beloved brand. 2. Hipster person that can be recognized by frequent being in the cafe, usually a Starbucks. Additionally, it carries a minimum of iPad and iPhone or iPhone and Mac. Such a person know when creativity, but at the same time after a noticeable sense of superiority over others. I liked the joke connected with those who exalt themselves. "How do you know that someone has a Mac? – He will tell you all about it at the beginning of the conversation. "3. BeginnerI have the impression that this group is the most tabletomaniaków Apple. Those who do not know anything about the company itself does not keep track of technological innovations just follow the crowds. People who saw with friends that look great and such equipment as well working on it, so might also want for yourself. 4. Hejter hate each new version of the tablet. They are making fun of people who have iPhones. Why do you mock? Themselves do not really know. They love to hate Apple and it drives them to action. 5. Rationalist These are people who consider the pros and cons and opted for Apple because somehow tab. The choice is completely thought out for our own tastes and current needs. To this group I classify themselves. In conclusion – there is a big part of people who definitely wants to offend a particular company only for the sake of its own rules. We can all laugh at this fanaticism, dependence on new technologies, tracking any interest on the topic, but whether this case concerns only people who like Apple? I have a feeling that a lot depends on whether it is the leading company of which just a lot of talk. The world is probably as much fanboy'ów Apple hardware, as fans of Android.

PocketBook Touch Lux 3 – Test competitor Kindle Paperwhite 3

We are testing the third generation already a very good reader for e-books – PocketBook Touch Lux 3. The new edition focuses on what in this type of devices the most important: on the screen.

Currently, e-book readers are in quite a difficult situation because they are faced with the tablets, which are increasingly equipped with superwyraziste and colorful displays. Therefore always I looked at these devices with a slight indulgence – in terms of functionality, they are not able to compete with the tablets, even the simplest, and the comfort of reading on screen type E-ink has never been so strong argument to distract supporters tablets from their devices based on Android or iOS-e.

A new screen

Although competition continues to grow from strength to strength, electronic paper is a technology in which still investing to continue to develop it, and the reader PocketBook Touch Lux 3 is an example of how dynamic this branch of the market. The device appears shortly after his predecessor because of one major upgrade hardware: E-ink screen Carta, or the latest installment of electronic paper. Unlike tested by our predecessor, which had a display E-ink Pearl, 6-inch screen PocketBook Touch Lux 3 (E-ink Carta) offers significantly higher contrast and durable, cover glass. Both devices have the same high resolution (1024 by 758 pixels) resulting pixel density factor equal to 212 ppi. From the point of view of people who value books more than other media such parameters ensure smooth fonts for an even more similar in character to a real book.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
Without prawienia unnecessary clichés, reading e-books on PocketBook Touch Lux 3 is really a great pleasure and I did not notice that the screen quality stood out from the Kindle Paperwhite 2. The contrast is very good viewing angles exemplary and screen coating protects against formation glare. On the other hand, the refresh rate is one of those features which our reality filled matrix IPS is difficult to accept.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
It's a matter of habit, I guess, that the screen sometimes hard to keep up with the rapid leafing through the pages or scrolling text, but one should boast. PocketBook allows you to set the refresh rate of the screen, which makes the penetration previous pages disappear once and for all. Once created an advertising spot of Amazon, which compared Kindle iPad showing that E-ink screen is much more convenient when reading in full sun and the screen, which does not shine let you forget about the fact that even while reading Å›lÄ™czymy before kind of monitor . The problem is that the backlight is useful, for example. While reading not only in total darkness but also with scant lighting, whenever my parents would say: "Light the wearing overhead light, because it'll ruin your eyes." Backlight Touch Luks 3 It is very strong, so we get a wide range of adjustment, but I think that rarely reach for the peak.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
remains the question of touch, which relied heavily while navigating through the system. Cards e-books much easier rolling over using physical buttons, but the choice of settings and change the intensity of the backlight requires detachment from buttons and delve into the screen. In these operations, the digitizer no problem with the interpretation of commands. Sensitivity not up to the level of the tablet, but the tragedy is not there.

System and Accessories

A lot of room to use the touch screen provides operating system. The basic interface elements are: sliding from the top bar with shortcuts to Wi-Fi (802.1 b / g / n), activation of synchronization, task manager, settings, search engines, and control backlight and beam ejected from the bottom, where we find additional items. The manufacturer is not idle and expanding the reader with additional programs – barely struggling with a web browser or web sites not exact notebook for creating freehand sketches. There will be a game – sudoku, solitaire and chess, we have a photo gallery, calculator, dictionary and an RSS reader.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
I like, however, is that rather than distract us from reading various applications, the reader PocketBook Touch Lux 3 creates a peculiar bond between book and reader, which clearly missed me while reading e-books on your tablet or phablecie. No notifications and mobile Internet is one thing, but just knowing that this device is to read a book lets you focus on the text. The strength of the software is developed system of data synchronization. Similarly to Amazon's services, PocketBook offers the possibility of creating individual e-mail address to which we can podsyÅ‚ać files, but apart from that the device can be synchronized with Dropbox, and when connected to a computer (PC or Mac), the reader is visible as a data warehouse.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
Whichever path synchronization process runs smoothly, and the system each option gives information about the path of the folder location. We also alone delve into the folder structure by selecting the "Books" that appears on the main screen. Very it enhances the work of the reader, because it allows you to maintain order in the files. In addition to clear rules of operation, the system turns out to be friendly because of the possibility of personalization – change the wallpaper off and mapping keys or assign his reader function keys according to our needs. This makes it easier to control basic functions such as backlight or such. Capture screenshots.

Reading

Reader supports a number of basic file extensions books and paintings, including ePub, mobi, doc (x), DjVu, htm (l), jpeg or png. As I mentioned earlier, there will be problems with using the content covered by collateral Adobe DRM. While reading the book, we can adjust the size and font (quite a rich library, though not all have Polish characters!), Fix the margin width and spacing, and set hyphenation. For PDF files, you can also set the display – adjust the display to the page width, reduce the proportions to fit a single page on the screen, set them in a number column.
PocketBook Touch Lux 3 / photo. TabletManiaK.pl
using typical file books – ePub or mobi – the reader gives us the opportunity to emphasize and highlight text, the English-speaking checking words in dictionaries (Webster 1913 or ABBY Lingvo Dictionary KD) or in any of the open documents, we can add bookmarks. In fact, not missing anything here that you can comfortably read a book, but I would like to see the ability to create flashcards with words selected as Kindle'u. This allows the grinding of a foreign language, and they often reach for reading the English, the lack of PocketBooku for me is disappointing.

Housing and workmanship

On the other hand, the device size and quality, is one of those things that fit with its intended purpose. PocketBook Touch Lux 3 is slightly thinner than its predecessor, but generally retains the same, very compact size.enclosure is made from pleasant to the touch plastic, which was covered and the front page where you run around the screen wide enough frame so that he can rest there thumb. On the back, at the bottom of the reader you will find a small bulge with a clearly accentuated streak. This allows a firmer grip when carrying the device in one hand. Additional equipment? There is a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a micro USB port and switch, all located on the bottom edge. At the top we find two small holes – probably used to attach the box from the manufacturer, while the front we find even the four main buttons – two options and two scrolling.

Summary review and evaluation

It's hard to do anything to fault when a reader to 500 zÅ‚ represents such a level asPocketBook Touch Lux 3. We have here an excellent ergonomics of use with a compact and nice housing in the lead, with comfortable keys and precise touch screen equipped with its own backlight. Besides, the display itself is a stamp of quality branded products PocketBook – the latest technology and high resolution are the main advantages of the matrix. The system has a great work culture. I did not mention it before, but during testing it was possible to update that greatly improved the operation of the software. Perhaps unnecessarily so many applications installed, but on the other hand, the producer generosity manifests itself in a rich range of possibilities for data synchronization and support for multiple file formats. PocketBook Touch Lux 3 is worth to buy and no one should drive on this model.

Apple is working on the problem precedent to the iPad Pro

iPad Pro has a very serious problem because, as reported its first owners of the tablet is suspended after long-term loading. Apple knows everything and is working on a solution, in the meantime suggesting what you can do yourself, to be able to use the device.

iPad Pro recently went on sale, and as we wrote to you some time ago part of the new owners has with him a considerable problem. After prolonged charging (eg. At night)Tablet freezes and you can not use it. In some people, this problem occurs regularly, some sporadically while, but refers to all types of capacitive. Fortunately, he referred to the case already decided by the manufacturer. At the moment Apple advises restart the iPad Pro whenever described the problem occurs, at the same time by holding down the Home key button and the Sleep / wake for at least 10 seconds. Of course, this is not a discovery and owners of problematic units themselves have used this solution before the manufacturer's suggestions. It is important, however, is that Apple knows about the case and is already working on eliminating this problem through the appropriate software update. The problem of the iPad Pro is admittedly an ordinary childhood disease, but in my opinion, this situation should never have happened, and on Certainly not in the case of equipment for the money. I think it's further proof that sometimes worthwhile to pause a little bit of buying freshly presented the device to avoid such situations.

There will be an Apple Pencil Bendgate. The new stylus is really tough

One of the users of the latest stylus American company decided to give up his endurance tests. As coped this accessory?

A YouTuber, Zach Straley published a video on your channel of an endurance test Apple's Pencil. In the video, we see several more or less rational actions to be performed to accurately test the durability of the stylus Apple. Always watching these videos, I wonder if anyone actually uses it in such a way – but do not judge me. As shown in the footage, the Cupertino company stylus is not subjected to aggressive testing and it looks like that is really tough. In this case we can not talk now about Apple Pencil Bendgate – accessory is not to bend or to break. The only weak point of this product is the upper part, which is used to charge the battery. It is encouraging that the Apple created a product which does not destroy in a simple manner and will serve to users for a long time. Currently accessory for iPad Pro costs in our country 479 zlotys.

Best Buy Now Sells An 8.9-Inch Windows 10 Insignia Tablet

Best Buy Now Sells An 8.9-Inch Windows 10 Insignia Tablet

I saw the box for this yesterday at Best Buy. No demo model out (yet?).
InsigniaFlex89
Unspecified quad-core Intel Atom CPU, 8.9-inch screen at 1920 x 1200, 2GBs of RAM, 32GBs of storage.
I know some people earlier on were considering an 8.9-inch tablet from China. So here it is in America now, probably no better than what you can order from China.
Best Buy is flooding their stores with craptabs. They, along with Amazon’s new eye-shredding non-Retina tablets, will ruin the market.
How soon will Best Buy have to stock Windows/Android dual-OS tablets to try to revive dead sales?
And I got curious about the Digiland tablets Best Buy stocks. The trademark owner is none other than Lightcomm, the maker of the Insignia Flex Elite 7.85!
If Best Buy keeps on this path, they’ll have to rebrand to Best Buy From China.

Insignia Flex Elite 7.85: Update Screen

Insignia Flex Elite 7.85: Update Screen

I’ve been playing with it again when I’m in a Best Buy.
I managed to capture this yesterday:
IFE022b
That’s a humongous update just to correct a tiny error!
Still nothing new at:
This is very puzzling. I’ve seen stuff I wouldn’t wish on an enemy get plenty of YouTube videos. This is better than all of them and yet the lack of interest is something I can’t explain.
Is the tablet market worse than we suspect? Is that why Best Buy has basically shrunk by one-third to one-half the number of tablets they now carry? Is that also why there are so many Insignia-brand tablets (that’s Best Buy’s house brand, for those coming in late)? Does Best Buy figure that if they have to sell what have become low-volume items, it should be Best Buy that makes most of the money per sale?
Really, if so many people have gotten burned by past craptabs, Insignia-branded tablets are no help in reviving that market!
