Inbox by Gmail now available for tablets and more browsers

Inbox by Gmail launched with support for Android and iOS smartphones, as well as the Chrome browser. Now, that covers most of us, but what about those of you who want to use the service with other platforms?

Worry not, as Google has expanded Inbox availability. For starters, the Android and iOS apps have been optimized for tablet use. You can grab the apps from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. In addition, Google has ended its Chrome exclusivity and Inbox is also available for Safari and Firefox users. Just sign in at inbox.google.com and you should be set!

Opinion: I was never a huge fan of Inbox, but I know some of you love its organizational features and the easy flow it offers. If you are an Inbox user, you should be happy about today’s news.
